1. Introduction

Welcome to Ribble Heating Ltd. By accessing our website, booking a service, or accepting a quote, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

"We", "us", and "our" refer to Ribble Heating Ltd. "You" refers to the customer or user of our services.

2. Services and Bookings
  • Appointments: All appointments are subject to availability. We will make every effort to attend at the agreed time, but we cannot be held responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., traffic, prior emergency jobs).
  • Emergency Call-outs: Emergency breakdown services are prioritized but availability is not guaranteed.
  • Access: You must ensure that our engineers have clear and safe access to the property and the appliances requiring work. If access is not possible, an aborted call charge may apply.
3. Payments and Pricing
  • Rates: Our standard rates and fixed prices for specific services are as advertised or quoted. Prices are subject to VAT where applicable.
  • Quotes: Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. A quote is an estimate and may be subject to change if unforeseen work is required.
  • Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the work for repairs and servicing. For larger installations, a deposit may be required. We accept payment via credit/debit card (processed securely by Stripe) or bank transfer.
  • Late Payment: We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to our minimum call-out charge.

5. Liability and Guarantee
  • Workmanship Guarantee: We guarantee our labor for 12 months from the date of completion. This guarantee does not cover defects arising from misuse, accidental damage, or work carried out by third parties.
  • Parts Warranty: Parts and materials are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of profit or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the price paid for the services.
6. Complaints

We aim to provide a high standard of service. If you have any complaints, please contact us immediately at info@ribbleheating.co.uk. We will investigate and aim to resolve the issue promptly.
